Job description
The Video Editor will play a key role in creating engaging video content to promote AICRA’s initiatives, events, and programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing, knowledge of streaming platforms like YouTube, and expertise in using Adobe Premiere Pro and other editing software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Video Editing: Edit and assemble recorded footage into polished videos that align with AICRA’s branding and messaging. Collaborate with the creative team to develop storyboards and scripts for video projects.
- Content Creation: Produce videos for various platforms, including promotional videos, event highlights, tutorials, and social media content. Create engaging thumbnails and titles to maximize viewer engagement on platforms like YouTube.
- Streaming Support: Assist in live streaming events, ensuring high-quality audio and video output. Manage video content on streaming platforms, including scheduling and optimizing video SEO.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro and other editing software to produce high-quality video content. Stay updated on the latest trends in video editing, streaming technology, and social media platforms.
- Quality Control: Review and ensure all video content meets AICRA’s quality standards before publication.
- Archiving and Organization: Maintain organized video files and archives for easy access and retrieval. Ensure all content is properly labeled and stored for future use.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in video editing and production.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other relevant software.
- Candidates having additional knowledge of Graphic Designing would be preferred.
- Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and best practices for streaming.
